Butterfly Mini Book for Ukraine #7

The butterfly is a Frankie-associated symbol in Ukraine’s national colors (blue and yellow). Cover is made with ½ & ½ butterfly wings printed with archival pigment inks on rice paper with many layers of encaustic wax. Inner cover is made with rice paper with images of the Ukrainian symbol of the sunflower. 
 
 
Each book is 2.5”x3.5”. It is made of signatures of Mohawk Superfine Paper-Soft White 80 lbs (216gms). Books are handbound with coated 4 ply wax linen string. All materials used are Acid Free and Archival. Books need to be kept away from sunlight and heat. 
 
This is a fundraiser to support the children in Ukraine. All funds from the sale of each book will be donated to Save the Children for Ukraine as a memorial gift made with Frankie’s love. Shipping costs are not included in the donation.
